The Main Ballroom                   

Magdalen Place features a 6,000 square foot event room with an elegant bar. The large event room accommodates up to 600 standing guests and 325 seated guests for banquets or conferences. Complete audio and music facilities are available. The ballroom's acoustics provide great accommodations for live concerts, theater productions, live recording, and as a sound and video production stage. This handsomely decorated venue is especially suited to enhance large or small wedding receptions.

 

The Parlor                                 

The Parlor is a 1,600 square foot elegantly furnished room that will accommodate up to 100 standing guests. Comfortable seating for 50 or more guests is available. This event room is perfect for a small event, business meeting, or an intimate function. It is the primary venue for displaying the wedding cake or conducting the actual wedding ceremony.

 

The Courtyard                           

The attached VIEUX CARRE’ style courtyard is self contained with restroom and bar facilities. This area can be accessed through a quaint and separate carriage house entrance and utilized as an independent location for events.

Two arbors and an all-weather protective overhang area provides various uses for your beautifully decorated outdoor wedding, family reunion, birthday celebration or other event. Together with the Main Ballroom, Parlor and the Courtyard the area totals over 12,000 square feet of multi purpose space for large events, conferences, weddings, etc. 

 

Bridal Room                               

The Bridal Room provides complete privacy and a place of retreat for the soon to be wedded Bride. Furnished with all the needed functionality, it is a refuge of comfort and preparation for the bride and her attendants.

 

Kitchen and Catering Facilities     

Our kitchen and catering operations offer state of the art commercial kitchen appliances, preparation area and refrigeration. Magdalen Place oversees bonded and insured catering services for your every need.

 

 

Complete Bar and Service Area   

Our antique Cypress Bar provides the atmosphere of southern comfort in the Louisiana tradition. In addition to its beauty and ambiance, all the modern facilities of a great commercial bar is available to all at your function.
